We stayed in a machan tent which was tired and needed maintenance and upkeep, there were tears and stains on the tent and the balcony's wooden boards need attention, as are dangerous. Water was hit and miss, some days we had none, and when we did the water pressure was incredibly low and was more like a dribble. The pool was disgusting, slime on the bottom with moss all around the walls, it was more like a pond. I have never actually seen such a poorly maintained pool in all.my years of travelling. I feel that for the prices they are charging they should reinvest some of the money into the maintenance of the accommodation and pool. We went on a village trip, it was a wonderful experience to meet the locals, however, it was incredibly overpriced and expensive at 4000 rupees per person. Checking out was an unpleasant experience as the owner insisted we had only paid half of our bill in advance, despite me showing them written proof that we had paid in full in advance. This caused a rather unpleasant exchange for approximately 45 minutes until they finally found the information on their system (which I had shown them as a print off), they did apologise, however this was a sour and stressful end to our stay. On the positive side, we liked the location as it was quiet, peaceful and close to the entrance to the national park, the grounds were nice (except for the pool) and the staff were attentive. Overall though sadly we would not recommend, they have the potential for a lovely site, however, they really need to invest money into maintaining it.

* Beautiful place with a lovely garden, and surrounded by farm. * Very relaxed atmosphere- just the kind of place we wanted. * Wholesome and tasty, freshly- prepared food. * Very courteous and helpful staff * The approach road needs some improvement.

Enjoyed the stay with family. Great hospitality and food was superb. Overall it was wonderful experience. Though it was over costly. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel truly pampered throughout our stay .Good to see horses over there and Felt very close to nature.

I and my Wife spent two wonderful days at Maa Ashapura in November end (27 to 28th). It is a nice homely peaceful stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. The property is located amongst the lush green jungle, hills and farms and is very close to Ranthambore national park. The staff is very supportive, they would make us feel at home, would service to all our needs and provide personal attention. The food was fresh - they would prepare on-demand buffet breakfast and would ask for preference for dinner. The Owner, Vikram Ji is a nice person and he personally ensures comfort. The Manager Om Prakash ji, would support us a lot. Overall if you are looking for a nice, quite peaceful home cooked meals (real desi food) opt for the property to enjoy the national park surroundings, special early mornings and the corner room on the first floor with the window. We had nice fresh baked food from the Chulha, sitting beside it. Overall we would feel at home amidst the jungle and farm.
